My background
I'm Sheryl Adams, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and over 17 years of experience in the field. I've worked with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of life challenges — from postpartum depression and perinatal mental health to grief, trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions.

My approach is strengths-based and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care. I tailor each session to the individual, because no two people — and no two journeys — are the same.
